I was born in Dallas, Texas, but quickly moved to Fort Worth, where I have lived most of my life.  My Family  (which can be found on my daughter's genealogy page) is Texan and has been for many generations.

 
I had the opportunity, though, to live in several other areas of the United States while traveling with my Air Force Officer husband, Dale Chalfant.

I have three daughters (LaFaye, Andrea, and Katie.)  I also have five granddaughters (Sara, Leisa, Reagan, Koleen, and Ashley), a grandson, Larry, and a wonderful son-in-law, Tom.

Two of my daughters are responsible for towing me on to the Superhighway!

My Interests

I have always been interested in almost everything - that is probably why I am at least willing to try to surf the Information Superhighway.
I have always been interested in Archeology.
I enjoy travel, and I have had the good fortune to see most of this country and parts of Mexico, Canada, and Europe.  I am still looking forward to seeing the archeological sites in the middle east.

I've also always been an animal lover, and I currently have a white poodle named Tevye, who brings me a lot of pleasure.
I'm an avid reader. I'm looking forward to finding new reading material on the Web.

This is a photographic retrospective of my life to date - a mere 86 years.  I am fortunate to have enjoyed good health and a good sense of humor for most of these years.
